Team Heardable was listening to music while doing some brand research when a song by Filo & Peri caught our attention. "Anthem" is an ode to days gone by. To the rebel of our youth. To bittersweet memories. A tribute to the girl that got away (see clip below).
One line in the song, "this is an anthem for the girl that got away," got us thinking about all the memorable brands that have gone away over the years. The clothiers, electronics stores, ice cream parlours and pizza joints. So many might unique brands are now defunct. A result of poor business decisions, marketing mistakes, expansion plans gone wrong, and half-baked competitive assessments that came back to bite them in the backside.
One has to wonder if any of these brands might still be here today if Heardable was around to help. :)
We decided to pay homage to a few brands that have gone away (see clips below).
